Chick Flicks are Fun :D
So one of my housemates bought a couple really girly movies. One of them I actually own its called the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It is a good movie. The other one is A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff in it. I really never liked her i guess b/c of Lizzie Magurie on Disney channel I didnt like cause everyone was like oh its you on TV. But this movie was so so sweet. and the music was awesome. Its the typical Cinderella story stepmom and two stepsisters and the dad died but its portrayed in less of a fariy tale type thing like real teenagers (although some parts are totally cheesy). it was funny when my friend came over right after i started the movie and then her boyfriend came over. he was like oh man this is such a chick flick. It was fun. im excited about tonight all us girls from work are getting together to hang out and the two guys will be there... we outnumber them so guess what... its gonna be a chick flick!!! but yeah thats all for now... im beginning to like this blogging thing. i used to write all the time about everything but i came to college and stopped. life happens sometimes.
sad day for me
i have to get a new roomate... this school makes me really frustrated... oh well. life goes on.

I can breathe again...
in my 10 boy 13 foot room which at one point in time occupied 3 girls now belongs to me. it is nice. one of my roomates was great i love her to death but the other drove me insane. but now they are outta here. i can turn the air down to like 50 and move that dang dresser out from in front of the air and not burn to death every night. its odd looking around. the room feels so so much bigger than it did when i first moved in and when there were three of us living here. now its just all open and all mine.
my roomate experiences have been quite interesting to say the least. first semester my roomate never showed up so i got stuck with one who i had never talked to before. she was a sweet person but neither one of us had ever had a roomate before so it was interesting. to add to the mix she was a night owl and at that point in time i was asleep by 10:30 every night. second semester i lived with a close friend down the hall. that was a very complex situation. we were pretty good friends and so much alike that it was just weird sometimes and we argued quite a bit (shhs dont tell anyone but i cussed at her couple times cause she made me so mad... good thing she didnt tell the dean or i would have gotten kicked out of school) we did have a lot of fun though watching movies and going on random adventures. She is an amazing friend and if I could do it again I would in a heartbeat (without the arguing though)
then there is this summer... oh my is all i have to say. the transition from dorm life to "house life" was nice. i like the homey atmosphere better then the hall atmosphere. living with 5 other girls is a lot easier than living with 39 other girls to say the least. a really good friend and coworker of mine and i were supposed to be roomates for the summer in a 2-man room which got overbooked so they put another person in our room. go figure. so we get to our house...it has like an older feel to it and the carpet is kinda gross. then there was our room... oh my we were both freaked out one wall was lined up with desks and dressers and the other had a bunked bed and a bed with a dresser in between. it was scary and we were not happy with the closet that 3 of us would have to share. but we rearranged and got one of the hall closets cleaned out and were pretty happy with our room. there was nothing more we could do but at least we could breathe. Kim found out she had cancer at the beginning of the summer and had to move out leaving just two of us here in the room. once all of her stuff was out it was more open and we were just getting used to it when another chick was thrown into the equation...mm. yeah we both had a hard time with that and the other girl didnt want to be on the top bunk so we spent hours and hours trying to figure out how to arrange our room the way we could all have our own space (kim and i didnt mind sharing our space but this new chick was a lil different and i dont like sharing my stuff with strangers.) anyway its been alright. a little rocky but ive made it through in one peace. yes that is spelled peace not piece. (there were times when we thought all hades was gonna break loose. but it didnt get that bad thank the lord!)
so all in all its been a long summer and ive learned how to be nice even when i want to find a bat or something and have a WWE smackdown.
oh and there were 2 new girls at work for the summer and they are amazing. im gonna miss them (if i turn up missing find mandy and courtney and search their closets cause they say they are gonna kidnap me and lock me in their closet.)
